“Wake up! Wake up!” she called to him, hitting him with pillows and shrugging him even more.
“MMMmmm…”
“It’s a very wonderful day, get your ass up and move!” She shouted, while swinging the curtain open to let the bright sunlight in. He cringed.
He pulled the pillow over his head and continued to dream.
She shouted longer, louder, but to no avail. He wouldn’t move.
When she finally ran out of energy, she gave up… looked at him sleeping for the very last time and rushed to the doors.
She pulled a little white bar from her pocket, looked at the two vertical lines for the last time before throwing them into the garbage can.

He woke up from his dream. He looked around and saw the windows wide open, the room a complete mess.
He waited for her to come back, he sat by the couch, watched tv, played his game consoles, and waited impatiently for her return, but she never did.
The nights turned into days, months and years.
She never came back.
She had forgotten about him.
